How to Reverse the Door on your Dryer

There may be a time you want to reverse the direction of your dryer door. It may open an inconvenient way that doesn’t align with your laundry layout, or you may find it more convenient to open the door from the opposite side.
Please note that door reversal should always be done by a qualified technician, to prevent damage or injury. Not all dryers will have the option to reverse the door.
This guide will provide the steps to reverse the direction of your dryer door.
Reversing the Dryer Door
First, loosen and remove the 3 screws on the bottom.
Then, loosen and remove the 3 screws on the top of the holder.
!CAUTION!
Use caution not to drop any part of the holder when detaching it. Property damage (cracks or breaks) or physical injury may occur.
Loosen and remove the 2 bolts on the doorframe.
To prevent abrasion on the bolts, use a hex screwdriver.
Do not remove the lower bracket screws.
Then, tighten the 3 holder screws on the bottom.
Note: To return the door to the initial position, follow the steps again. Please note that the door, hinges, and other parts would be in the opposite orientation as listed in these steps.
